Wellness Core
I have a paraplegic dog. Since his paralysis, and subsequent spinal surgery, he has had extreme digestive problems. Of the commercial dog foods that I've tried since his surgery, Wellness Core is the only one that I can feed him on a consistent basis, and still maintain some control over his digestive health. He still has a bad phase about once each week. When that happens, I mix the Core with another high-quality dog food for a couple of meals, then switch back to Core only. As of right now, this seems to be solving the problem. For those of you whose dogs have normal digestive systems, a day each week may seem like a lot to tolerate in terms of doggie digestive dilemmas. But my dog used to have those problems for months on end, despite being given medication from his vet. Before trying Core, the only way I could control it was to cook for him, and that resulted in rapid weight loss. For us, Wellness Core has been a godsend. That said, no commercial dog food is appropriate for every dog. If what you're feeding your dog is working for him or her, I wouldn't recommend switching.
